Yggdrasil Gaming, a leading online casino games developer, has announced that it has enhanced its international reach even further after strengthening its existing partnership with renowned iGaming operator Betsson AB.
The agreement will see the collaboration between Yggdrasil Gaming and Betsson extended into several new regulated markets that include Italy, Denmark, Latvia and Spain.
Yggdrasil Gaming Limited is a subsidiary of Swedish online casino operator Cherry AB and has also entered into partnerships with Lottomatica, GVC Holdings and others over the last few months.
Italy has already gone live with Yggdrasil content that is now live on Betsson’s Starcasino.it brand.
Fredrik Elmqvist, the Chief Executive Officer at Yggdrasil Gaming, revealed that Betsson was one of Yggdrasil’s very first customers when they signed a partnership back in 2014 and they have both gone from strength to strength in the years since. He added that given the increased scale of both businesses now operating across multiple jurisdictions, it made sense for them to update their partnership into something more comprehensive.
Elmqvist went on to say that this framework will ensure that the deep, strategic partnership between Yggdrasil and Betsson continues to flourish.
Andy Broughton Braithwaite, Betsson Group Director of Gaming, added that Yggdrasil is a popular choice with their players across many countries and brands and their releases are of a consistently high quality.
