The full schedule for the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is now out, and players are in for another top-notch online poker action this year with $80 million guaranteed across dozens of events, including 12 World Championship events.

2023 WCOOP – Key Details

Running from September 10 to October 4, the 2023 PokerStars WCOOP features a total of 110 numbered events, the majority of which are split into three buy-in tiers – Low, Medium, and High.

The series is headlined by 12 World Championship events, including the $10,300 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE) Main Event, which is the main highlight of the festival. The tournament comes with $6 million in guarantees. The schedule also includes a PLO version of the Main Event featuring the same buy-in and a guarantee of $750,000. Both events run on October 1.

Last year, Portugal’s Luis “luis faria” Faria topped a 760-entry field to win the $10,300 NLHE Main Event for $1,293,825 in top prize.

WCOOP Leaderboards

PokerStars is once again awarding extra prizes via four leaderboards – one for each buy-in level, and another for the overall player of the series race. There’s a total of $100,000 in prizes to be won across all four leaderboards, with the WCOOP Player of the Year series taking home an extra $25,000.
