The MPN has announced that The Classic tournament series will be returning this month following its lucrative €350,000 guaranteed debut in 2017. This time, an amount of €50,000 is guaranteed together with a once in a lifetime trip to Monaco for the Classic Champion.
There are two parts to the Classic: The Mini Classic which is due to run between Sunday, 28th January and Sunday, 11th February 2018 and offers players €45,000 in guarantees for buy-ins as low as €0.50. Plus, The Classic Main Event that is due to run between Sunday, 11th and Sunday, 25th February 2018 that offers a further amount of €45,000 in guarantees.
Alex Scott, the Head of Product (Network Games) at Microgaming, commented that at the MPN they are committed to growing their tournament offering throughout 2018, and the expansion of The Classic series is a key part of that.
Scott went on to say that 2018 promises to be an exciting year for MPN players, as they continue to create thrilling experiences both on and off the felt.
All players who manage to final table a main event in The Classic will qualify for The Classic Millionaire Freehole that sees the winner winning a once in a lifetime trip to Monaco for two. They will fly to Nice where a helicopter will shuttle them to Monaco for a trip around the course of the Monaco Grand Prix and lots more.
The MPN is also running the Premium Leagues promotion and will be giving away €15,000 in tickets to The Classic Main Events. Players who bubbled events in the series can benefit from the Bubble Bursters Freerolls with an additional €3,500 worth of value.
