The National Basketball Association (NBA) has revealed that it has entered into a new multi-year agreement with Tab.

In terms of the agreement the Australian operator will remain as an official NBA betting partner.

The NBA and Tab will carry on providing fans in Australia with new gaming experiences that will be introduced across the NBA websites and NBA platforms including the NBA app and its social media accounts.

Tab will act as a presenting partner for the localized version of NBA’s free-play NBA Pick’eEm for the prediction game.

Tabcorp, the parent company of Tab, announced a partnership in 2019 that brought NBA TV to Tabcorp’s Sky Channel into entertainment and retail establishments by the thousands in Australia.

The increasing partnership is dependant on the co-operation of betting media, with betting and real NBA touch-points across over an approximate 4,400 locations.

Adam Rytenskild, Managing Director of Tabcorp Wagering & Media, commented that NBA is one of the world’s leading sports organizations.  

He added that the NBA’s popularity in Australia continues to grow, especially among younger viewers.

Rytenskild also said that they are focused on racing and this partnership enhances Tab’s sports offerings, betting and racing new customers.  He added that they look forward to working with the NBA team to provide their customers with unique services through great products, promotions and content.

Scott Levy, Executive VP and Managing Direct of NBA Asia, said that this NBA season is ready to become an even more thrilling basketball showcase.

Levy went on to say that together with Tab, to deepen their engagement with many of Australia’s passionate NBA fans who are interested in the game, they provide the best possible gaming experience.
