Matchroom has announced that it has entered into a five-year renewal with Stats Perform that will see the partnership with the SportsTech leader in data and A1 technology pass twenty years.
In terms of the long-term, trusted partnership, Stats Perform will retain the worldwide exclusive live betting streaming rights for Matchroom Multi Sport and PDC TV events that includes several of the largest tournaments in sport from the PartyPoker Mosconi Cup, William Hill Darts World Championship, the Snooker Champion of Champions, and more.
The multi-year agreement will also give Stats Perform the exclusive right to distribute live video streams from the competitions to licensed sportsbooks, forming extraordinary betting experiences online, on mobile, and in retail betting venues.
Stats Perform recently worked with the PDC Darts Home Tour to deliver coverage to a number of the world’s leading sportsbooks as Matchroom and the PDC led the way in sports innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alice Rice, Chief Rights Officer at Stats Perform, commented that they are delighted to be able to continue their long-standing relationship with Matchroom. She added that the multi-sport nature of the deal provides their clients with a broad range of content which appeals to a high number of betting fans.
Rice also said that in Matchroom, they have found a great partner who shares their vision for providing access to premium betting content.
