Sportradar Integrity Services, the world’s leading supplier of sports integrity solutions, has announced that it has entered into an extended deal with the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the world governing body for motor sport that promotes safe, sustainable and accessible mobility for road users across the world, in terms of which it will monitor and safeguard the integrity of its championships which includes the renowned FIA Formula One World Championship.

The agreement signed by the parties will see FIA Competitions continuing to be monitored by Sportradar’s Fraud Detection System (FDS), which has been independently assessed and verified by recognized experts in the field of sports betting and integrity.

A number of integrity workshops will also be run by Sportradar that will see participants being educated about possible integrity threats and how they can call attention to correct and righteous behaviors within professional motorsport.

The FIA will also work with Sportradar in order to launch a dedicated e-learning tool and associated webpage platform that is focused on morals and protecting the sport.

Pierre Ketterer, Head of Governance, Integrity and Regulatory Affairs at FIA, commented that safeguarding the integrity of motorsport worldwide is of paramount importance.  He added that by adopting this multi-faceted approach to integrity, they are confident that their competitions will continue to be run with ethical value at the forefront.
