SportPesa is thrilled to announce that it has signed a deal with Racing Point Force India in terms of which it has become the first online betting operator to enter into a title sponsorship agreement with a Formula One (F1) motor-racing team.
The multi-year deal will come into effect from the 2019 F1 season with the team renamed as the SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team.
SportPesa will have its branding featured on the front and rear `+wings as well as the engine cover of the team’s cars while the agreement will also see the team’s cars retaining their pink color. BMT will also continue to act as principal sponsor of the team.
Adam Beighton, Company Director at SportPesa commented that the new partnership is very important to the betting operator as it will enable SportPesa to expand into new territories and reach audiences across the globe.
Beighton went on to say that equally important is the platform it provides, which enables them to stay true to their mission: to build and develop grassroots and professional sport in countries where they operate by bringing new opportunities to local communities.

SportPesa has operations in Kenya, the UK, South Africa and Tanzania.
