Though sports betting along with other online casino games has ever been the most aspiring way to roll the money faster, and in most of the cases it proves to be so, but there are countless cases as well when players indulge in this habit without caring about their social responsibilities or families, in fact, there have been incidents when bettors commit suicide after losing uncounted money on betting or playing a casino game.

Every time we have a big sporting event to be kicked off, many social watchdogs start spreading messages and appeal to the bettors not to extensively wager money on any sport until they are comfortable in losing it. UK independent gambling watchdog the Senet Group is one such organization who is going to inaugurate such a campaign ahead of the European league evet that is being kicked off today in France. Since soccer has ever been the most popular outdoor game of sports and Championship league is one of its popular annual events with a fan following coming from around the world, Senet group has decided to begin their campaign from the start of this event.

Reportedly, the social watchdog is going to begin a national advertising campaign to encourage responsible gambling during the UEFA European Championship national football team tournament. Alongside they are also expending the scope of their existing campaign ‘Bad Betty’ by including football-specific messages and guidelines for UK punters to help them keep their patience and not to place unnecessary bets for their clients. For that they have tied up with ace advertising agency The Corner and their slogan of the year would be ‘When the fun stops, stop’ which will be shown on television and on social media simultaneously.

Talking about their campaign, independent standards commissioner at the Senet Group, Wanda Goldwag said, “Our ‘Bad Betty’ adverts continue to be very successful in educating gamblers to become more aware of the signs behind problem gambling, as well as encouraging a more responsible approach.

“Our expanding membership means that more gamblers and the wider public are exposed to our campaigns and we hope people will follow the tips in our new adverts during the Euros.”
