Betting exchange operator Smarkets has announced that it has entered into a partnership with casino operator Full House Resorts that sees it rolling out its SBK mobile sportsbook app in Colorado – marking its entrance into the US market.
Full House Resorts is an independent casino group and the operating company of ‘Bronco Billy’s Cripple Creel Casino in Colorado.
Smarkets launched its proprietary built SBK sportsbook in September of last year. The next generation betting platform integrates Smarket’s flagship betting exchange prices with customized social engagement features to deliver a fresh experience for sports punters.
Jason Trost, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Smarkets, commented that ten years after the Smarkets exchange went live in the UK, this is another massive landmark for them as a business.
Trost went on to say that it is their mission to upend this old-fashioned industry so he is excited for Americans to enjoy some of the best odds in the world, as well as the carefully crafted customer experience they provide compared to the big sportsbooks.
Colorado officially opened its regulated sports wagering marketplace last month after securing State Senate approval in November 2019.
Smarkets compete with a packed field as Colorado’s Gaming Control Commission is said to have authorized 35 sportsbook licenses, despite the fact that the marketplace is at an early stage.
DraftKings, BetRivers.com, FanDuel and FoxBet are among the first Sportsbook movers in the Centennial State.
The market anticipates the launch of MGM Resorts ROAR Digital property, Betfred USA in partnership with the Black Hawk Saratoga Casino as well as William Hill.
