Scout Gaming, a leading Tech firm, has entered into a partnership with Metric Gaming in terms of which the two companies will combine their sports betting and fantasy sports products.
The partnership is non-exclusive and states that Metric Gaming and Stockholm-based Daily Fantasy Sport platform provider Scout Gaming will have mutual access to each other’s products and develop new products jointly with the aim of amalgamating sports betting and fantasy sports games.
The agreement signed between the parties will also see Metric providing traditional sports betting products for Scout’s Betflex application.
According to Scout and Metric, they have seen an elevated demand for their respective products in the United States since the repeal of PASPA in May of this year. With sports betting now having been legalized in a number of states and companies such as FanDuel and DraftKings progressively moving into the legal wagering market, Scout is of the opinion that the heritage of Daily Fantasy Sport means that it is ‘expected to remain an important part of the gaming market going forward’.
Andreas Ternstrom, Chief Executive Officer at Scout, commented that they are experiencing interest from operators ready to launch a sportsbook offering in the United States as well as parties that have already launched.
Ternstrom added that Metric Gaming is a world-class sportsbook which, like their platform, is based on the latest technology.
He also said that through the collaboration, a leading offer for the American market, where Metric Gaming resides, will be created.
Martin De Knijff, Chief Executive Officer at Metric, said that they see great potential in the partnership with Scout Gaming since their products complement each other perfectly.
