Market-leading sports betting solutions provider SBTech has announced the launch of Action Betting, a mobile-first feature which supplies players with markets of interest via contextual alerts and call-to-action betting options.

Action Betting is powered by SBTech’s machine learning procedures and creates immediate notifications when a specific incident occurs in a match, whether a red or yellow card, a free kick, a dangerous attack or a corner.  A powerful market is then displayed on-screen that enables players to “quickbet” on outcomes directly from the device, with the selection added to the bet slip instantaneously.

Ian Bradley, the Chief Product Officer at SBTech, commented on the launch by saying that Action Betting is the result of their investment in personalization, as they seek to tailor the experience for each user.

Bradley went on to say that the constant drive to create more markets is not going to stop and given the challenges that brings, their aim is to enhance the UX, ensuring that players do not have to scroll and search for markets.  He added that they could offer them suggestions whenever a noteworthy incident occurs, presenting them with an appropriate market in the context of the alert.  He also said that the launch of Action Betting is part of their strategy of continuously improving the mobile betting experience and is just a taste of what they have in store for their partners in 2018.
