PokerStars just launched a new tournament series for its players in Ontario – the ONCOOP Warm-Up Series which runs till Aug 28. The schedule is jam-packed with 59 events, offering a combined guarantee of over $400,000.
ONCOOP Warm-Up Series on PokerStars Ontario
Kicking off on August 19, the ONCOOP Warm-Up Series covers all bankrolls, from low to high. Hold’em events dominate the schedule but there are also a handful of non-hold’em events thrown into the mix, including PLO, Five-Card PLO, and PLO Hi-Lo. Ontarians can enter the series for as little as C$10, with the highest buy-in set at C$500.
There are plenty of events within the C$20-C$100 buy-in range, guaranteeing up to C$15,000. Those who want higher-level action may take part in multiple C$500 events for a share of up to C$20,000 in guarantees.
Players can choose from several tournaments running daily, played either in standard or PKO format.
The Main Event, which runs on August 27, costs C$100 to enter and features C$45,000 in guaranteed prize money. Those looking for a more affordable route into the tournament can take part in satellites running round the clock on PokerStars Ontario for a buy-in of only C$5.
