Playtech, the online gaming solutions giant, has inked two more deals, bringing new bingo games onboard and expanding its footstep in the Eastern European gambling market.  The group signed an extension deal with Fortuna Entertainment Group, bringing its IMS player management platform to Fortuna brands in Croatia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Playtech will also add IWG games to its bingo offering.

The chief operating officer of Playtech, Shimon Akad, called the agreement between his company and Fortune “significant”. The said that the extension and expansion of their existing partnership highlights the success enjoyed in the past and the further growth that he believes will come in the future.

“This is a perfect example of how Playtech technology leads the way when it comes to enabling operator growth across regulated markets, and a further reflection of our role as the infrastructure of the industry,” said Akad.

Fortuna reported annual growth of 93% in total bets placed to EUR 2 billion, mainly from its online gambling brands.  The group’s CE, Per Wilderstrom said that when Fortuna first partnered with Playtech, its aim was to become the leading betting and gaming operator in the Central and Eastern European region. Now that Fortuna has achieved that ambition, he said, the group continues to look to growing and building its offer further in new and existing regulated markets.

In the meantime, Playtech integrated gaming content from IWG onto its Bingo Network which will enhance its instant win product range.
