Playtech will continue to provide the UK bookmaker, Betfred with gambling services, including casino, live casino, poker and bingo, as an extension of an existing decade-long agreement between the two. The new deal, which will run until 2024, is exclusive for the British market.
According to the chief operating office of Playtech, Shimon Akad, the London-listed group is delighted that Betfred, considered the world’s largest independent bookmaker, and a key long-term partner for Playtech, has chosen to commit to an exclusive agreement across four key verticals.
“Betfred’s decision to invest in an exclusive Live Casino space in 2018 was a significant step in developing our working relationship, and has seen Betfred develop a highly compelling Live offering,” said Akad, referring to Betfred’s first dedicated live casino space, which was launched in 2018 at Playtech’s Live Casino facility in Riga, Latvia.
Also commenting was the MD of Betfed, Rakesh Chablani, who said that having a strong and successful partnership with Playtech for over 10 years and an extension of the exclusive agreement for another four years, represented an exciting opportunity to continue growing the business.
