The online casino games and software developer and provider, Playtech, announced that it would be making changes to its executive staff, including a number of new appointments. It is hoped that these new additions and/or reshuffling will improve the executive space at Playtech and contribute even more to this group’s success.

Changes include:

  • Linda Marston-Weston will become a new non-executive director from October 1st, replacing Claire Milne who is due to step down at the end of this month. Milne served as interim chairman of the group before Brian Mattingly stepped into the role.

Mattingly said that Marston-Weston brings “a huge amount of experience, strategic insight, and expertise to Playtech having spent more than three decades advising businesses at board level.”

  • Ian Penrose will transfer from his current role on Playtech’s nomination committee to become senior independent director on September 30th.  He replaces John Jackson.

Mattingly continued by thanking Marston-Weston and Penrose for their contribution to Playtech’s development over the past five years.

  • John Krumins will become chair and member of the company’s audit committee. He will also take a place on the nominations committee with Anna Massion.  The latter will take the position of chair of Playtech’s risk committee, where she will be joined by Marston-Weston.
