Perform Group, a leading digital sports content and media solutions provider, has revealed that it has extended its 10-year partnership with Racing UK by signing a three-year contract extension that will see it continuing to provide video streaming services for Racing UK and all its bookmaker partners as well as to the Racing UK video console service.
The new deal will see the technical partnership between the parties continue until the end of 2018.
Racing UK is a subsidiary of Racecourse Media Group (RMG) which broadcasts horseracing coverage from 34 of the leading racecourses in the United Kingdom. Last year the group delivered 66.3 million live streams.
Ross MacEacharn, the Chief Executive Officer of Perform’s content division, commented that they are thrilled to have extended their contract with Racing UK as they continue to provide its bookmakers with a high quality streaming service. He added that they also believe that the agreement further enhances their portfolio of horseracing clients and gives them a chance to continue delivering a highly valuable and strategic service.
The parties also collaborated on the launch of Going to Post that gives punters a chance to view paddock pictures before placing a bet, which launched exclusively with bet365 last month.
MacEacharn went on to say that they are delighted with the Going to Post product which is bound to be of massive benefit to all parties involved.
Nick Mills, Commercial Director at Racing UK, added that they are thrilled with the Going to Post innovation which gives online and mobile punters a unique perspective of a horse that they would not have seen otherwise.
