Yggdrasil Gaming, a leading provider of superior online and mobile casino games to some of the world’s biggest operators, is pleased to announce that Manchester and Stockholm-based Northern Lights Gaming will become the first independent game studio to develop on its’ platform as part of the Yggdrasil Game Server Masters’ program that launched last month.
In terms of the agreement, Yggdrasil’s operator partners will gain access to Northern Lights’ UK-focused slots with Yggdrasil providing access to Boost, the collection of in-game promotional tools that enables studios to develop their own version of these tools.
Andrew Goodale, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Lights Gaming, revealed that as they are finishing off their first games and preparing to show them to the world, they are very proud to be the first external game developer to gain access to Yggdrasil’s innovative platform.
Goodale went on to say that they look forward to building a close working relationship with Yggdrasil and making the most of the powerful tools they have developed.
The Head of Studio Partnerships at Yggdrasil, Stuart McCarthy, said that since launching YGS last month, they have received many enquiries and he is thrilled to announce their first partnership.
McCarthy also said that Northern Lights has built a team with unparalleled expertise when it comes to developing for the UK market, and they have been hugely impressed by what they have seen so far. He added that they are certain that YGS Masters will help take Northern Lights’ content to the next level, and they are excited to share the games with customers in the coming months.
