Swedish online gaming supplier, NetEnt is pleased to announce that it has been granted an Interactive Gaming Manufacturer Conditional License by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board through its subsidiary NetEnt Americas, LLC that will see the group supply their internet casino titles while their full license application is pending.
The Pennsylvania state legislature approved a bill in October of 2017 allowing online casino which has led to NetEnt being awarded a Conditional License in terms of which the developer will deliver its successful online casino games in the newly regulated market in Pennsylvania. The company is one of the first providers of online gaming products to have obtained a license by the local regulator ahead of the upcoming official opening of the market.
The Conditional License obtained by NetEnt will give the company the opportunity to partner with land casinos so as to offer online casino games to players that are located physically within the state and will include the company’s slot and table games as well as live dealer titles.
NetEnt submitted an application for an Interactive Gaming Manufacturer Conditional License last September and the supplier will, meanwhile, be allowed to provide its products to interested local gambling operators while its application for a full license is under review.
Erik Nyman, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC commented on the supplier obtaining a license to provide its products across Pennsylvania casinos by saying that they are pleased to be in the first round of licensees. Nyman added that this fits their strategy to be live with their products at the first day of market opening, which is likely to be sometime in mid-2019.
