Swedish game developer NetEnt is pleased to announce that it has entered into the regulated market in Switzerland after they were awarded the global standard ISO 27001 certification last week. The company’s online casino games are now being on offer at gaming operators Grand Casino Luzern through the Pal platform and Grand Casino Baden through the Gamanza platform in Switzerland.
The certification is notoriously not easy to obtain and oversees things such as network configuration, infrastructure and protection of information. Switzerland requires all license holders in the country to hold this certification so as to weed out a lot of ‘fly-by-night’ companies.
Obtaining this certification proves that NetEnt covers various aspects of their operations to meet international standards and will see the developer now able to unlock access into new regulated markets and WLA procurement, which avenues were previously not available to it.
Henrik Fagerlund, the Managing Director of NetEnt Malta, commented on the award by saying that the ISO 27001 certification is an important acknowledgment for them and is the result of dedicated and hard work from their team.
Fagurlund went on to say that they pride themselves on being a reliable, trustworthy and secure partner to customers and players.
Fagurland also said that they continue to deliver on their strategy to grow by strengthening their position in regulated markets. He added that they are very pleased to take this step into the Swiss market and look forward to launching their award-winning games with even more operators soon.
