Nektan, a leading gaming software group, is thrilled to announce that it has signed content deals with Betika and BetLion that will see it expand its services in Africa for the first time.

In terms of the agreements Nektan will provide its complete casino game library of slots and table games to both casinos, bringing desktop as well as mobile games to the platform.  The games will all be deployed via Nektan’s E-Lite platform, which is a B2B product.

Betika and BetLion are both focused on African markets and recently had their licenses renewed by the Kenyan Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB).

Founded in 2016, Betika sponsors Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka, while BetLion was founded by Victor Chandler in 2017, powered by FSB’s sports betting technology.

According to Nektan, the roll-outs mark a landmark step in its B2B expansion scheme, which includes a focus on emerging markets such as Africa.

Nektan’s Founder and Executive Director Gary Shaw, commented that Africa is an emerging market that is rich with possibilities and presents them with opportunities to build their international expansion.

Shaw also said that as they continue to grow Nektan’s B2B software division, deals such as this highlight how their proprietary technology is fit for purpose in emerging markets all over the world.

Jaydeep Chakravartty, Vice President of Commercials at Nektan, added that as a nimble technology provider, they are able to efficiently integrate their content into large scale operator networks across the globe. He went on to say that Betika and BetLion will now be able to offer their customers a wide range of increasingly popular casino games.
