Addison Global, *9+-a mobile sports betting start-up, has revealed that it has entered into a long-term partnership with Hertha BSC, a Berlin-based club that plays in Germany’s top football division, the Bundesliga.
The agreement signed between the parties was brokered by Lagardere Sports, a leading sports and entertainment agency, that will result in Addison Global’s MoPlay brand become the official sports betting partner of Hertha.
In terms of the agreement, the operator will work with the club in order to develop fan engagement programs and special promotions for supporters of Hertha.
The agreement follows MoPlay’s entry to the German market with its mobile-first, SBTech-powered sportsbook offering which went live in June 2018 with a soft launch in the United Kingdom.
MoPlay has also entered into similar partnerships with English Premier League clubs Manchester United and Watford Football Club.
Juergen Reutter, Chief Executive at Addison Global, commented on the partnership by saying that simultaneously securing a Bundesliga sponsorship deal and entering the German market is a sign of their strong commitment to achieving their goals for the MoPlay brand.
