Microgaming, an award-winning online casino software provider, is pleased to reveal that its new purpose built headquarters on the Isle of Man, at last officially opened on Monday, 31st July 2017.
Building of the new headquarters began in April of 2015 and was constructed adjacent to Microgaming’s current premises in Douglas just a little more than two years later. The company’s building, named Sixty Two, is finally open for business with the new and existing buildings linked by a specially designed sky bridge.
Microgaming’s continued expansion and growth led to the software group announcing two years ago that it would be creating this new campus for some of its employees.
The new 5-story building can house 100 employees (out of the 231 employed by the group on the Isle of Man) and boasts several special features that include a “green” building, a 260 degree view of Douglas, Smart Lighting ad a welcoming Reception Room.
The fourth floor of the new building is occupied by a huge communal area that features pool tables, a canteen, library, coffee shop, poker table and a darts board. There is also an in-house gym, a studio that hosts fitness classes as well as a treatment room, making it obvious that Sixty Two was designed and built with Microgaming’s employees in mind.
The magnificent rooftop garden in the building has stunning views of the island.
The CFO of Microgaming, John Colman, commented on the new building by saying that it is incredibly satisfying to see Sixty Two open after all the years of hard work and commitment.
