Microgaming Software Systems Limited has announced that it changed its name to Apricot Investments on Wednesday, 27th June 2018, in an endeavor to broaden its interests in a number of public and private assets while focusing on the interactive gaming and gambling space.

Meanwhile, Oakwood Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Microgaming Software Systems Limited was renamed Quickfire Limited on the same day and now trades as Microgaming.

Apricots Investments, the new name of Microgaming Software Systems Limited, has announced the appointment of Roger Raatgever as its Executive Chairman. Raatgever served as Chief Executive Officer of the company for the past 17 years.

As an investment vehicle, Apricot Investments will begin pursuing greater interests in the interactive gambling and gaming industry.

Microgaming, was also pleased to announce that John Coleman has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.

John previously acted as Chief Financial Officer of Microgaming and has played an active role in the operational running of the business in the past few years.

Coleman, as Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, commented on his new appointment by saying that he is honored to be leading Microgaming,   He went on to say that this is a momentous time for the business, as they face exciting new opportunities in the years ahead.
