Microgaming, the award winning Technology Company, has announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Studiocanal S.A. that will see it develop an action packed online slot based on the popular science fiction film Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
A follow up to the film The Terminator, Terminator 2 was released in July 1991 to worldwide enthusiastic praise, winning four Academy Awards and two BAFTA Awards. The movie’s gross worldwide box office sales topped $500 million.
The Terminator 2 movie appears in the American Film Institutes’ Top 10 Science Fiction films and is 35th on the list of The 500 Greatest Movies of All Time.
Images of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who appeared in the movie in his most famous role, will be used in Microgaming’s new slot game which is due to be released this summer.
