Sidney-based online game developer Lightning Box Games, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a content deal with Microgaming in terms of which it will distribute its popular games on Microgaming’s Quickfire platform.
The three-year deal signed between the parties will see online casinos that use the platform having access to Lightning Box Games’ library of titles with the first game, Silver Lioness 4x, going live on the network in February of next year with other new titles following in the near future.
The Chief Executive Officer of Lightning Box Games, Peter Causley, commented on the new deal by saying that they are extremely pleased to have signed a deal for Quickfire as it is great to have another route to get even more of their unique Aussie content into the market.
Causley went on to say that the Quickfire platform is a very strong distribution channel, with more than 200 operators integrated, and is bound to open up a host of new opportunities for them with new customers in markets across the globe.
Andrew Clucas, the Director of Quickfire at Microgaming, added that with over 600 Microgaming games and development partner content from more than 25 developers, Quickfire is a platform of choice for operators wanting diverse content. He added that the breadth of their offering, together with the removal of platform fees for development partner games, further strengthens their position as a one-stop shop.
Clucas also said that Lightning Box is a fantastic addition to their development partner portfolio as their games are enjoyed by land-based, social and online players around the world.
