LeoVegas is thrilled to announce that it has been granted a gaming license in Spain that will see it having the opportunity to launch the Spanish site in the near future. The new gaming license applies to Casino as well as Sports games.
Gustaf Hagman, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, commented on obtaining the license by saying that they welcome Spain as their 7th locally regulated market.
He went on to say that with LeoVegas’ position as ‘King of Casino’ they are now entering Spain with the ambition to take the mobile position and offer the ultimate gaming experience.
Hagman also said that the Spanish online gambling market have a strong underlying growth with over 20% per year. He added that the Spanish license is an important step in their continued expansion in other Spanish-speaking countries where they have already conducted test launches in Chile and Peru.
