Reigning Italian Serie A football club Juventus has revealed that it has entered into a partnership with leading betting and gaming company Sisal Matchpoint in a regional sponsorship deal.

In terms of the deal, Sisal Matchpoint will serve as the official betting partner of the club for the duration of the 2016 – 17 season and benefit from branding placement inside the Juventus Stadium as well as the club’s training ground.  The deal will also see Sisal Matchpoint having the opportunity to gain access to a number of players for marketing and communication campaigns.

Giogio Ricci, the Head of Global Partnership and Corporate Revenues at Juventus, commented on the partnership deal by saying that the partnership with Sisal Matchpoint is the innate union of two Italian leaders in their sector.

Ricci went on to say that just like Juventus, Sisal base its success on millions of fans’ passion for football.  He also said that thanks to this agreement, they will be in a position to develop activities in order to involve even more of their Italian fan base.

Juventus have been the winners of Italy’s top-tier league a record number of 32 times and have also been crowned champions in each of the last five seasons.  This close season has seen Juventus being boosted by the Italian record US$ 99 million signing of Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain.  However, it would appear as though Juventus could be losing talismanic midfielder, Paul Pogba.
