YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul was set to headline a fight card in Madison Square Garden on August 6 against Hasim Rahman Jr. That fight fell through and the card had to be cancelled which did not go down well with Jake Paul.
Jake (5-0) was keen on fighting once more before the end of the year and it looks like he will face his toughest opponent when he takes on former UFC middleweight champ Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva.
Paul vs. Silva At Middleweight In October
The two camps are currently in discussion to stage the fight on October 29 but no official contract has been signed as of now. Jake who is 25 years old is looking to fight the 47 year old Anderson Silva at middleweight – 185 pounds.
The Spider has had a successful run in the boxing ring after leaving the UFC. Anderson has beaten Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Tito Ortiz in boxing in his last two fights and is set for a big payday if and when he fights Jake Paul.
Most Valuable Promotions which represents Jake has confirmed that an official announcement will be made next week.
