Hydra Industries Acquisition Corp is pleased to reveal that its acquisition of virtual sports, mobile games and server-based gaming, video and lottery products provider Inspired Gaming Group has now been concluded with the combination of the two entities to be known as Inspired Entertainment Inc.
Inspired Gaming Group has now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inspired after eighty-nine percent of Hydra Industries Acquisition Corp’s stockholders approved the deal last week.
Lorne Weil, the Executive Chairman of Inspired Entertainment, Inc., commented on the acquisition by saying that they are absolutely delighted to be combining the respective management teams of Hydra Industries Acquisition Corp and Inspired Gaming Group. He added that they believe Inspired is uniquely position to expand the distribution of its unique and cutting edge content and they are very excited to embark on building on this world-class business.
Luke Alvares, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Inspired Entertainment, Inc., also commented that over the last fifteen years, Inspired has established itself as a leading provider of content and technology to the global gaming industry, focused on “Entertainment with an EDGE.
