Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GIG) is thrilled to reveal that it has been awarded a Class 4 Remote Gaming License from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) for its subsidiary BettingCloud Ltd. which will now see the subsidiary close B2B deals as a Sports Betting solution provider.
BettingCloud has already signed German-facing operator Wetten.com as its first client. Earlier this year, Wetten.com signed a platform agreement with GIG’s subsidiary iGamingCloud. The company is endeavoring to soft launch this week, while a full commercial launch is expected early in the first quarter of next year.
Robin Reed, Chief Executive Officer at GIG, issued a statement wherein he said that they have reached a major milestone as they are now a fully licensed B2B gaming service provider for the Sports betting vertical. He also said that GIG is continuing to branch out in the iGaming value chain and is now a fully-fledged gaming service provider.
Reed’s statement also reveals that it is currently developing technology that will see it produce proprietary odds through its subsidiary OddsModel AS. The technology is due to be commercialized in 2017 and will be integrated onto BettingCloud which will then offer a vast range of services which include odds feeds, betting engine, content services, risk management and trading tools. He added that the solutions will be sold independently and can be bundled with GIG’s iGamingCloud platform.
Reed reviewed plans for 2017 by saying that within next year, these efforts will fully come into fruition and it will benefit the company and their clients greatly.
