Roger Raatgever, the Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, announced in February of this year that it was planning to adapt the Emmy award winning series into a video slot game. Raatgever also said that they were incredibly excited to have signed a licensing agreement for Game of Thrones which is a highly relevant and extremely popular show. He added that the slot adaptation would complement the existing Microgaming blockbuster slots portfolio as they were planning on taking all of the features of the small screen fantasy epic in order to create a masterpiece of a slot that will be an amazing addition to their branded content games. Raatgever also said that Microgaming’s operators and their players would have lots to look forward to this year.
Last year Microgaming released several video slot games that included Racing for Pinks video slot that is based on girl street racers, Georgie Porgie video slot and The Dark Knight Rises slot that is based on the Christopher Nolan film series. The Jurassic Park online slot featuring scenes and characters from the 1993 classic hit was released by Microgaming earlier this month.
