American daily fantasy sports company DraftKings is pleased to announce that it has entered into a sportsbook partnership with Kambi Group in an endeavor to prepare its grand entrance into the legal and licensed sports betting market in New Jersey.

Malta-based Kambi Group was formerly part of Swedish online gambling giant the Kindred Group and provides B2B sports betting services for a number of leading operators, including Kindred and 888.

Kambi revealed that it is active in six continents and employs more than 600 people across half a dozen offices located around the world.  The company also explained that it can assist gaming operators in a wide range of aspects such as developing the user interface, compiling odds, risk management and more.

In terms of the sportsbook partnership signed between the parties, Kambi will provide various sports betting technology and services to DraftKings as it expands from strictly fantasy sports into the realm of sports betting.

New Jersey recently began accepting sports wagers after passing legislation to regulate sports betting, following last month’s Supreme Court ruling on the issue.

Kristian Nylen, the Chief Executive Officer of Kambi, commented on the agreement by saying that he is delighted that Kambi has been selected to partner DraftKings as it enters the sports betting market.

Nylen went on to say that the Kambi technology is unique in that it empowers operators to innovate and create differentiated sports betting experiences, providing the flexibility which will be crucial in the developing US market.
