Danish Superliga football club FC Copenhagen, Denmark’s most successful football club, has agreed to extend its partnership with Kindred Group’s Unibet.

The deal signed between the parties will see the partnership running through to the end of the 2020–2021 season.  Unibet commenced its partnership with the club in 2012 and this new agreement will extend their relationship to nine years.

In terms of the extension, the B Stand at the 38,065 capacity Telia Parken stadium in Copenhagen will continue to be named the Unibet Stand, with the club also rolling out special promotions and offers for fans, in partnership with the operator.

Alex Rasmussen, the Sales Director at FC Copenhagen, commented on the new deal by saying that they are incredibly proud to have extended their agreement with a brand such as Unibet.  He added that viewed from their side, for many years they have had a strong anchored cooperation, which has resulted in some amazing experiences.

Rasmussen went on to say that there have been many benefits, especially their joint-produced documentaries, and not least when they saw a helicopter land on the Telia Parken pitch this summer with their former captain Thomas Delaney to celebrate their title win.

Anja Bruun, Unibet’s Sponsorship Strategy Manager, added that Unibet is a dedicated gaming provider in Denmark, so they are naturally pleased to extend their cooperation with FC Copenhagen.

Bruun also said that by continuing their commitment as the exclusive betting partner with FC Copenhagen, they maintain their ambition to make Unibet Denmark’s favorite online gaming provider and look forward to even more great experiences with the club.
