BetMGM’s sports betting brand has revealed that it has entered into a deal with Madison Square Garden Sports (MSG Sports) ad Madison Square Garden Entertainment (MSG Entertainment} that will see it become a sponsor of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

In terms of the new deal, BetMGM will have the opportunity to have its branding appear inside Madison Square Garden, which is a Manhattan-based arena that plays home to both teams.  

BetMGM’s signage will also include spots on Zambonis, basketball stanchion, hockey dasherboard and ribbon LED signage in the seating area.   In addition, the company will also be featured on both teams’ social media pages with space on the MSG TV network for branding also being part of the deal.

It is not yet known what the price is that is being paid for the sponsorship.

The deal signed by the parties will help BetMGM to enhance its brand in New York, where it recently obtained a license to offer a mobile sportsbook.

Ron Skotarczak, Executive Vice President of Marketing Partnerships at Madison Square Gardens, commented on the deal by saying that MSG Sports and MSG Entertainment are made up of world-renowned brands that set industry standards for excellence, exposure and engagement, making them ideal partners to help drive sports betting’s continued growth.

Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, said that New York is a critical state for BetMGM’s continued growth and he cannot think of a better way to begin their relationship with The Empire State than partnering with ‘The World’s Most Famous Arena’ and their legendary team franchises.

Betway, a Super Group owned online sports betting and gaming platform is pleased to reveal that it has entered into an agreement with National Hockey League franchise the Philadelphia Flyers that will see it extend its US sporting network.

In terms of the multi-year partnership Betway, as an official partner of the Wells Fargo Center-based side, will have its branding visible on the ice and the boards during Flyers’ home games at Wells Fargo Center in Pennsylvania.  

According to Betway it will obtain vast coverage from the Flyers broadcast and social media reach, as well as huge TV viewer-ship records that were set last year.

Mike Shane, Chief Business Officer for the Flyers, commented that as an organization, they focus on partnering with innovative, forward-thinking brands who understand not only where the sports industry is right now, but also where it is going.

Shane went on to say that this partnership with Betway is a great match for their organization and thanks to their league-leading social media platforms and their consistently strong TV ratings, they are able to provide their partners with incredible exposure and reach.

Anthony Werkman, Chief Executive Officer at Betway, said that continuing the growth of the brand, they are thrilled to add the Philadelphia Flyers to their burgeoning North American portfolio.  

Werkman added that through their partnership with both the Flyers and the 76ers, Betway now has a major presence in the fanatical sporting city of Philadelphia.

He also said the Flyers are one of the most popular teams in the NHL, setting social media and TV viewer-ship records, so this partnership will give them huge exposure to fans throughout Pennsylvania who have access to their products.

Golden Nugget, a leading American land-based casino group, has entered into a partnership with online group DraftKings that will see the group operate the online group’s sportsbook in the Casino Lake Charles Hotel and Casino in the state of Louisiana.

The new location that opened on Wednesday, 10th November 2021 is inside a portion of the Blue Martini bar and features 30 self-service kiosks and 6 manned cages across the property with Golden Nugget planning to open a permanent book in the summer of 2022.   The permanent location is due to take up 10,000 square feet of space and includes TVs, seating for close to 300 customers, odds boards and more.

Rush Street Interactive, a market leader in online casino and sports betting has announced that it has fully launched its BetRivers online sportsbook in the US state of Arizona.

Players aged 21 and over in the state of Arizona now have the opportunity to register, deposit funds, wager and withdraw funds from the BetRivers Sportsbook mobile app.

The BetRivers Sportsbook offers players a multitude of betting options on a vast selection of competitions, leagues, games and players in addition to other features which include a stats center, betting tips and player search functionality, live streaming content and real time game tracker visualizations.

The launch follows Rush Street Interactive having entered into a multi-year market access partnership in August of this year with Arena League Football team the Arizona Ratters, with the duo having been issued a license prior to the opening of the market in September 2021.

The launch in Arizona comes after Rush Street Interactive also proceeded with the soft launch of a PlaySugarHouse online sportsbook last month, in partnership with Connecticut Lottery Corporation, as well as the roll-out of social gaming and sportsbook platform Casino4Fun in Ontario.

Sportradar is pleased to reveal that it has been granted an online gaming service provider license in the state of Connecticut and has also renewed its sports wagering supplier license in West Virginia.

In addition, the provider has entered into new integrity deals with two European basketball organizations.

Connecticut opened its online and retail betting in October this year, while West Virginia was one of the first states to legalize sports betting after the repeal of PASPA, launching its market in August of 2018.

The licenses will see Sportrader having the opportunity to offer sports data and related services in both states.

Spsortradar has also signed new integrity partnerships with German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the Slovak Basketball Association (SBA) who will both gain access to Sportradar Integrity Services’ Universal Fraud Detection System.
