The PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) London at Hilton Park Lane is officially over and among the final winners to be crowned at the series was Adam Miller who took down the £10,300 EPT London High Roller for £312,383.
First EPT Title for Miller
It was the first big high roller win for Miller who formerly worked as Chief Financial Officer for Deliveroo. The victory came as a surprise for the American poker pro who mostly plays cash games. He said the field was comprised of plenty of crushers but bringing his A-game, keeping his composure, and just getting lucky helped him clinch the title.
The win was a remarkable one for Miller as it was the first EPT tournament he entered.
Final Table Results
Miller and Brazil’s Renan Bruschi were the final two players standing and the pair agreed to a heads-up deal, with Miller claiming the lion’s share of the prize. It was a nice run for Bruschi as well, who walked away with £270,217 for his runner-up finish.
Completing the final table were Marcello Marigliano (9th), David Kitai (8th), Mike Watson (7th), Sita Divari (6th), Juan Pardo (5th), Alex Keating (4th), and Daniel Aziz (3rd).
GGPoker gives online poker players each month to make huge sums of money playing online poker. The online poker room has now confirmed that it will run a special tournament in November called the Flip & Go Millionaire Tournament.
Flip & Go Millionaire Tournament
The Flip & Go Millionaire Tournament is set to run from Nov 1 to 11 and will have a $1 million guarantee to it. GGPoker is promoting this as the biggest Flip & Go tournament of all time which is also extremely convenient for poker players as starting flights for this tournament will run every hour.
GGPoker is also making this very accessible to all poker players as the buy-in to this tournament is fixed at just $11 with the final Go stage set for 11/11. The online poker room will also run a number of satellite events where players can qualify for just a few cents.
GGPoker introduced the Flip & Go tournament in 2021 and has since had a lot of success with it. The online poker room says this is another opportunity for poker players to turn pennies into a massive payout from the $1 million prize pool.
The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has added two more stops to its 2022 schedule, after successfully hosting multiple events in various locations in Asia so far this year. The recently-announced stops will take place in the Philippines and Vietnam in November and December.
APT Philippines
The new Philippine stop runs from November 15-27 at Newport World Resorts in the country’s capital, Manila. The series features 41 events, headlined by the ₱55,000 (~$930) buy-in Main Event which has a guarantee of ₱15,000,000 (~$254,000). Other key events to be on the lookout for include a Mystery Bounty tournament, High Roller and Super High Roller, Monster Stack, and Championships Event.
APT Vietnam
After its event in the Philippines, the tour will then head over to the Risemount Premier Resort in Da Nang Vietnam to host a series that runs for 11 days, from December 8-18. Again, the festival will culminate in the ₫33,000,000 buy-in Main Event (~$1,350) where players will compete for ₫10,000,000,000 (~$410,000) in guarantees.
The Da Nang schedule also features a Mystery Bounty tournament, High Roller, Super High Roller, and Monster Stack.

The World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is returning to PokerStars for some unfinished business. The online poker operator ended up cancelling multiple tournaments on the 2022 WCOOP schedule in September due to DDoS attacks. The Main Events were among those cancelled.
PokerStars has since rescheduled the Main Events to November 6, and the operator recently announced that they will run as part of “WCOOP Take Two” which takes place from November 5 to 9.
WCOOP Take Two
WCOOP Take Two can be likened to a mini-series as it will only run for five days, but there’s nothing “mini” about the schedule and guarantees on offer as PokerStars will award a huge $28 million in guaranteed prize money across 66 events during those five days. Players can enter the series for as low as $5.50.
The site will also be running satellites throughout the series, awarding an extra $1.5 million in prizes.
Bigger Guarantees for Main Events
PokerStars has also increased the guarantees for the Main Events. Main Event – High now comes with a $7 million guarantee (up $1 million). The same goes for the Medium version which also saw its guarantee increase from $4 million to $5 million. Main Event – Low now features $300 million in guarantees, an increase of $500K.

The popular Bounty Hunters Series is officially back on GGPoker. The festival got underway on October 16 and will take place until November 7, 2022, featuring at least $50 million in guarantees, making this year’s edition the biggest in the history of the series.
Key Events
The main highlight of the festival is easily the multi-flight Mystery Bounty Main Event which features a massive $5 million guarantee plus a top bounty prize worth $500,000, all that for a buy-in of only $210. The final stage is scheduled for November 7.
Other events to be on the lookout for include the Global MILLION$ Bounty Edition which comes with a huge guarantee of $1 million. The tournament’s final stage is on October 23.
Players should also consider adding to their must-play list the Sunday Special Editions which include, among others, the Sunday Big Game and Sunday High Rollers Main.
The Bounty Hunters Series schedule also includes Special Edition GGMasters $25 Bounty Freezeouts and Bounty Hunters Daily Main.
Satellites and Bounty Jackpot
GGPoker is running satellites for some of the biggest events on the schedule, and what makes the series more exciting is that the Bounty Jackpot mechanic will be in play in every tournament, except the Main Event, giving players the chance to win up to $1 million extra cash if they eliminate an opponent.
