PokerStars Ontario has added a fresh line-up of tournaments with bigger guarantees on offer for Ontarians. The revamped MTT schedule has become even busier, with the addition of 11 new tournaments. Players can now compete for at least CAD $125,000 in total prize money each week on PokerStars Ontario, as the operator strives to keep its status as the largest online poker room in the province.
New Tournaments
Among the newest additions to PokerStars Ontario’s weekly schedule are the Fast Friday, Saturday Duel, Double Deuce, along with new Sunday tourneys such as the Sunday Marathon and Sunday Starter.
The daily MTT schedule also received an upgrade with new daily tournaments such as the Daily Kickoff , Daily Cooldown (PKO), and Big $200.
Bigger Guarantees
Guarantees for both the daily and weekly tournaments have also been increased, such as the $500 buy-in Daily Super High Roller which now features a $10K guarantee, up 25% from the previous $8K. The Sunday edition of the tournament also had its guarantee boosted from $15,000 to $20,000. The operator also raised the guarantee for its flagship $100 Sunday Special from $35,000 to $40,000.

888poker’s Mystery Bounty Edition of the KO Games kicked off on November 6, 2022 and the initial results have been impressive so far, with the first tournaments smashing their guarantees. There’s $2 million in guarantees up for grabs across two weeks of online action which will run until November 22.
Opening Events Smashing Guarantees
The opening events proved to be a hit among players, as hundreds registered to take a shot at the cool guarantees on offer. All in all, the first four tournaments exceeded their guarantees by around $15,000, with the $11 Mini PKO event on November 7 being the best performer, surpassing its target by nearly 40%.
The $109 buy-in KO Games Opening Event Mystery Bounty also had a decent turnout of over 1,250 entries, smashing its guarantee by more than $6,000.
There’s still a week left for players to take part in the series, with dozens more tournaments left on the schedule.
More Action at the Live Felts
Over at the live felts, 888poker is also bringing some action. The operator is hosting the 1,100 buy-in 888poker LIVE Madrid 20th Anniversary Main Event which runs as part of the LIVE Madrid Festival which started on Nov 10 and will end on Nov 20 at the Casino Gran Madrid- Torrelodones.

PokerStars is running a race-themed promotion that gives players the chance to win a share of more than $100,000 in prizes up for grabs each week. The new promotion called “Spin & Go Races” essentially works like a leaderboard where players must strive to finish at the top of the standings to take home the lion’s share of the prize.
How it Works
The new promo adopts an auto-racing theme in which players are provided a full tank of gas on the starting grid. As they complete a circuit of 22 games throughout the week, they should make sure there’s enough fuel left in their tank to earn a spot in the weekly rankings. The player left with the most fuel at the end of the week will be declared the winner.
Winning a game means saving fuel. Not clinching 1st place means you will lose a percentage of your fuel depending on your finishing position. Your journey is officially over once you run out of fuel.
Promo Runs Until Nov. 20
The promotion involves multiple buy-in levels, ranging from $1 to $250, which means both low-stakes and high-stakes players can take part and they don’t necessarily have to directly compete with each other.
