Caesars Entertainment is pleased to reveal that it has gone live in the Pennsylvania sports market with the launch of its new Scientific Games powered offering at the Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack.
The sportsbook, powered by Scientific Games’ Open Bet platform will give Harrah’s players the opportunity to place bets at the venue on a selection of betting options that include professional and college sports coverage for basketball, football, hockey, baseball, golf, soccer, and much more.
The launch will also see Scientific Games provide ongoing managed trading services from its Don Best group that will the powering of continuous evolution of the platform’s pricing and data feeds.
Christian Stuart, the Executive Vice President of Gaming and Interactive Entertainment at Caesars, commented on the launch by saying that they have worked seamlessly with Scientific Games in order to cement their sportsbook presence in new markets with great speed, and are tremendously excited to usher in a new era of sports betting capabilities for Pennsylvania players at Caesars.

Online and mobile sports betting has been scheduled to launch in the first quarter of this year.
