Betway, a leading online gaming and betting operator, has announced that it has entered into a three-year deal that will see it become the premium partner of Italian football club AS Roma.
In terms of the agreement signed between the parties, the operator’s branding will be carried on the Serie A team’s training kit.
The agreement will run through the 2020/2021 season during which period Betway will have the opportunity to offer advertising with the club, including creating digital ads and signage at the stadium. The AS Roma football club plays in Serie A, and is scheduled to commence play in approximately five weeks.
Betway’s Anthony Werkman, commented on the new deal by saying that they are very excited to be partnering with a great club like AS Roma in what is their first partnership in Italian football.
Werkman went on to say that AS Roma have a huge fan base and they hope that this three-year deal will give them some great exposure over the course of the next few seasons.
AS Roma’s Director of Global Business Development and Commercial Operations, Kaitlyn Colligan, also said that they are delighted to announce Betway as a Main Global Partner and are looking forward to seeing their name on their training kits this season.
Colligan went on to say that Betway is a young and ambitious brand with global aspirations and that they are excited about working together to offer fans exclusive competitions, access and insight from behind the scenes at Trigoria.
