Betway, a leading betting firm, has announced that it has extended its sponsorship agreement with Aintree in terms of which it will continue as the Official Betting Partner of the Randox Health Grand National Festival horse race for a further period of five years.
The agreement signed between the parties will see Betway’s name appearing on the races, which will be named the Betway Bowl, Betway Aintree Hurdle, Betway Top Novices’ Hurdle, Betway Midmay Novices’ Chase, Betway Mersey Novices’ Hurdle and the Betway Handicap Chase, all of which are aired live on ITV.
The leading online bookmaker has been the official sponsor of the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival since 2015 and is the current sponsor of a number of Jump and Flat races in both the UK and Ireland.
Anthony Werkman, Chief Executive Officer at Betway, commented that the Randox Health Grand National Festival is a fantastic event and they could not be happier with how the last two years have gone. He added that the racing over the three days is of the highest quality and they are delighted to be continuing their involvement for a further five years.
Werkman also said that with massive crowds on the racecourse and a huge TV audience, the National meeting is one of the biggest occasions in the sporting calendar and one that they are proud to be a part of.
