Sportsbook BetMGM has announced that it has been named as the preferred sports betting partner for audio platform Audacy, the business formerly known as the Entercom Communications Corp.

In terms of the deal signed by the parties, BetMGM content will be integrated into Audacy audio network, which includes radio shows and podcasts.

Matt Prevost, the Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, commented on the new partnership by saying that Audacy is a leader in sports radio, digital audio and now the direct-to-consumer betting analytics space.

Prevost went on to say that in Audacy, they have found a long term strategic partner that shares their goals, enabling them to further amplify BetMGM’s reach to sports fans through the most trusted audio personalities and sports betting data and analytics platform in their respective markets today.

Audacy was previously known as Entercom, but has now been re-branded. Last year it acquired QL Gaming Group (QLGG) a sports data and igaming affiliate platform, in a cash deal valued at an amount of approximately $32m.

Mike Dee, the President of Sports at Audacy, added that they are extremely proud to partner with BetMGM and wish to thank them for their confidence in them as they become one of the largest media partners.

Dee Went on to say that in light of their BetQL acquisition and related offerings, they believe that this commitment is the latest validation that no other media company offers the wide variety of ways to connect with the sports betting audience the way that they do on a multi-platform basis.
