“Not only does it confirm our games are in high demand among top tier operators, it also acknowledges our never-ending aspirations to deliver gaming content that is not only highly entertaining, but also innovative and safe,” he added.
The Isle of Man based online casino software and games supplier, Microgaming, has signed an exclusive deal with Spinstars games developer. Under the terms of the deal, Spinstars’ entire casino catalogue will be expanded to new markets through Microgaming’s aggregation platform.
Spinstars will have the opportunity to tap into Microgaming’s distribution channel so that its games will now be available to players in other markets such as Germany, Malta and Belgium. The games will eventually be available to Dutch players when the regulated market opens there.
The Director of Aggregation at Microgaming, Graeme Powrie said that the group was thrilled to welcome Spinstars to its platform, since the group brings with it a wealth of unique and exciting gameplay experiences “with a classic slot machine feel.”
Powrie added that the deal comes at an exciting time for Microgaming as the group plans to enter the regulated Dutch market on October 1st, with a diverse collection of top partners and exclusive game studios.
“Our Spinstars products have been heavily anticipated by customers who are not just looking for unique content, but especially content that will help them strike the right note in countries where classic slots are more well-known than video slots, such as the Dutch market,” said Joeri Dikkeboom, the CEO of the Gibraltar-based Spinstars. “In Microgaming, we’ve found a partner that cannot just facilitate this demand, but has been supportive of our mission to bring ‘classic games’ with ‘new technology’ since the very beginning.”
After receiving final approval from the UK courts, the £2 billion merger deal between the casino – entertainment group, Bally’s and the online gambling operator and content developer Gamesys Group, has been completed.
The UK Gambling Commission already gave its blessing to the merger, which saw Bally’s agreeing to pay $25.77 per Gamesys share.
With the merger now complete, Gamesys shares will be delisted from the New York Stock Exchange this week.
The deal was first announced in March, 2021, finalized a month later and approved by all shareholders in June.
The chief executive of Gamsys, Lee Fentor, will become chief executive of the entire group.
Fenton said that the merger “represents a compelling opportunity to integrate Gamesys’ market-leading gaming technology with Bally’s growing U.S. gaming platform to create a vertically integrated company that is poised to capitalize on the rapidly expanding U.S. online sports betting and iGaming market. Given our comprehensive suite of collective assets and our track record of successfully developing online gaming operations in highly-competitive markets, we believe we will be able to offer customers a unique and differentiated approach to gaming.”
The chair of Bally’s Soo Kim added: “We think that Gamesys’ proven technology platform alongside its highly respected and experienced management team, combined with the US market access that Bally’s provides, should allow the combined group to capitalize on the significant growth opportunities in the US sports betting and online markets.”
A technical malfunction led to the delay in the launch of the Netherlands’ new online gambling market. The official gambling regulator, de Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) said that the ten approved online gambling operators were not yet given the final green light to take real money bets from players due to the malfunction with the Centraal Register Uitsluiting Kansspelen (Cruks) platform.
“Due to a technical malfunction of Cruks, it is not possible for online providers, such as Holland Casino and Toto, to allow players on their websites,” said the gambling authority.
“The cause of the malfunction has been identified. We are working hard to fix it.”
On October 2nd, the authority advised that the malfunction had been solved and the entire issued resolved. This mirrors the delay of the launch of the licensing portal on April 1st this year, also due to technical issues, as well as three other delays in the entire process which saw the launch date of the market pushed back to October 1st.
All ten operators that were given permission to go live by the KSA have now started accepting real money players.
Other operators who haven’t yet received licensed, but are in the process of pursuing them, have stopped accepting Dutch players for the moment.
These include big-name gambling operators such as Entain, 888 Holdings, Kindred, Leo Vegas and Kindred.
Here’s a fun way to earn free spins on your favorite Microgaming online slots. OJO Casino a has fantastic rewards feature in the form of an OJO Wheel. According to the online casino, the Wheel is its “way of saying thanks for being AWESOME!”
The OJO Wheel is in fact made up of three different wheels, all of them which provide different levels of rewards. Players will receive a free spin on the OJO Wheel when they unlock a special level or simply as a random gesture by the casino.
Whenever you earn a spin on the Wheel, you’ll find it in the Rewards section of your casino account. Then, all that’s left for you to do is claim it and spin it.
The number of free spins on top slots that you can win depends on which of the three wheels you spin.
“The higher your OJO level, the more rewarding the prizes,” explains the online casino.
The three OJO Wheels are as follows:
- Wheely Easy
- The Wheel Deal
- Are You for Wheel?
The first one guarantees a win of free spins every time, although the numbers are low.
The second Wheel promises bigger prizes, but Skull images have been added to it, which means that you could land up with nothing if you happen to land on them.
The third Wheel has the biggest prizes but comes with the greatest risks of landing Skulls.
