Online poker room Americas Cardroom (ACR) will sport a new name and branding, along with major changes to its website design and cash game rules as part of the operator’s biggest software upgrade to date.
The fresh updates were designed with the players in mind and should deliver the best poker experience in the industry, according to Owen Gaines, Head of Product at the Winning Poker Network (WPN) where the ACR site runs.
What to Expect from ACR’s Biggest Software Update
The software update is likely to be rolled out next week, and players can look forward to a completely new-look client, with modernized design and functions. They will be welcomed by a new logo and branding, “ACR Poker”, accompanied by a new online store where they can purchase exclusive ACR merchandise. The rebranding was done as the online poker room’s global player base continues to grow.
Software Upgrade to go Live on July 5
Gaines said the players remain at the center of their upgrade efforts as they’ve always been since ACR’s launch in 2001. Other skins running under the WPN will also experience similar upgrades, which will go live on July 5.
