Stockholm-listed sports betting technology provider Kambi Group has announced that it has extended its technology partnership with LeoVegas that sees it cover all of the online gambling operator’s sportsbooks.

In terms of the multi-year agreement, the relationship that commenced in 2016 will be extended and will see LeoVegas migrate other brands such as 21.co.uk and BetUK to the Kambi sports betting platform.

BetUK’s sportsbook was previously powered by SBTech, following a deal entered into in July 2018 with Rocket X, the parent company of several brands acquired by LeoVegas in January 2018.

Mattias Wedar, LeoVegas’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, commented that they are pleased to continue their sports betting journey with Kambi, a partnership which has brought about real success as they continue to deliver on their sports betting ambitions and becoming the King of Casino.

Kambi assisted LeoVegas in launching its debut online sportsbook in 2016 and has powered the offering for its core brand ever since.  LeoVegas currently takes bets in several markets, including Sweden, Spain, Great Britain and Denmark.

Kristian Nylen, Chief Executive Officer at Kambi, said that they are proud to have agreed this partnership extension with LeoVegas and that Kambi will now provide its sports betting services to the other popular brands in the LeoVegas group.

Nylen also said that Kambi is the partner that operators can trust to provide the powerful sportsbook core and flexible technology they need to unlock their sports betting potential, and it is fantastic to have this recognized by an operator as highly regarded as LeoVegas.
