Codere, a leading international online gaming operator, has announced that it has appointed Moshe Edree as the new Chief Operating Officer of its online division.

Endree will head up the business and report directly to the general management of the group.

Edree joins Codere with 15 years of experience of game management in the sector and will be responsible for the company’s new strategy which endeavors to promote online business as one of the pillars of growth and development within the Latin American and European markets in which it is present.  He will also be instrumental in strengthening the current structure and incorporating new specialized talent into the Codere business.

Codere is attempting to strengthen its competitive position in Colombia and Mexico where it has recently opened up operations as well as Spain where it has had a long established presence.

Spread throughout different states of the Republic, Codere’s Mexican operation consists of 19,607 gaming terminals, 92 establishments, 89 betting points as well as a racetrack that is located in Mexico City.  In Colombia it also operates 5,047 recreational machines and 10 gambling halls in approximately 130 municipalities throughout the country, including Cartagena, Medellin, Cali, Bucaramanga, Valledupar, Santa Marta, Villavicencio, Bogota, Barranquilla, Pasto, Ibague, Monteria, Pereira and Tunja.

Moshe Edree has, in recent years, led the processes of growth and value creation of operators such as Ladbrokes and PartyGaming and has founded a number of successful companies in different fields, such as the Safecharge payment solution and the Intercontinental Online Gaming Group.
