Yggdrasil Gaming, a leading casino games developer and supplier will be expanding its service offering into the table games sector during the first quarter of this year.
The supplier is developing a number of multi-player table games and is planning to use its in-house REDUX progressive technology to launch a blackjack title. Yggdrasil describes the technology as the perfect platform for players to immerse themselves fully in a 3D casino environment.
The product uses motion capture technology to model the movements of the dealer and operators will have the opportunity to run games from the standard branded package or dress them according to their own visual identity or special themes.
Operators choosing to run the games will also benefit from Yggdrasil Gaming’s collection of ‘BOOST’ in-game promotional tools which facilitate network campaigns.
Yggdrasil also intends adding roulette and baccarat games to the new range later this year.
Krzysztof Opalka, the Chief Product Officer at Yggdrasil Gaming, commented that their table games provision, starting with blackjack, is set to break new ground in online casino gaming. He added that the table games vertical has been fairly static in recent years, but their product’s combination of social interaction and high-end playability is unlike any other currently on the market.
The first operators to go live with the Yggdrasil’s new table games are InterCasino and Vera& John, both part of the Jackpotjoy Group.
The Head of Gaming at Jackpotjoy Group, Victor Olinger, added that Yggdrasil is a well-known name across the industry that has come a byword for innovation in the slots sector and it is fantastic news to hear they are turning their attention to table games.
