Following its switch to Microgaming’s Poker Network (MPN network) earlier this year and the more recent launch of its live dealer offering, internet poker site PKR has announced that they will begin offering their players Virtual Sports games in an endeavor to diversify their game offering to their players.

The new products will be powered by Kiron Interactive and will include Football, Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing and four others with additional products being added in the near future.

Chris Welch, the Chief Executive Officer at PKR, commented on the new product this week by saying that the addition of Virtual Sports takes the brand one step closer to its strategic vision of becoming both a multi-product gaming portal and poker technology provider.

Welch went on to say in a statement that they believe in quality products that offer players great entertainment.  He also said that with realistic graphics and nonstop action, Virtual Sports will sit well alongside their 3D Poker software.  He added that many of their poker players like a bet and they, therefore, hope that they will enjoy these new games in between hands.

PKR is a poker room in which players play against each other in a virtual 3D environment and is the world’s most friendly, advanced and exciting poker room, with award winning poker software and a thriving community.

The poker room was founded in 2006 and is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission for customers in Great Britain and licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission for all other customers.
