Leading Swedish developer and supplier of digital casino solutions NetEnt is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Codere, an existing customer, in terms of which it will be setting foot in Latin America.

The agreement with Codere will see NetEnt enter the regulated online casino market in Mexico where the game producer will continue its expansion on regulated markets across the world with its innovative digital gaming solutions.

Codera is already one of NetEnt’s customers and has a large presence in the land-based casino markets of Italy, Spain and Latin America.  The company is the largest casino operator in Mexico and has a license for land-based as well as online casino operators.

In terms of the agreement signed between the parties, NetEnt will provide Codera with its vast library of games.  The fact that Codera has an operating license in Mexico has resulted in NetEnt not having to obtain one at this stage in order to operate in Mexico.

The Managing Director of NetEnt Americas, Bjorn Krantz, commented on the agreement by saying that they are extremely excited to enter the regulated online casino market in Mexico in partnership with Codere.

Krantz went on to say that this is their first entry on the Latin American market and that it forms another milestone, as they follow their long term strategy to get a foot on the ground and grow in new regulated markets.  He added that he is convinced that NetEnt can support Codere’s online casino growth and that Mexican players will love their games.
