Konami Gaming, a leading gaming manufacturer of slot machines and casino management systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Sutherland as President and Chief Executive as well as a number of other changes to its senior management team.

Sutherland, who has been with the company since the year 2000, will replace Satoshi Sakamoto in his role of President and Chief Executive with the latter now moving to the position of Senior Executive Director at parent company Konami Holdings Corporation.

Sutherland commented on the reshuffle by saying that from their company’s first game installation and systems implementation, Konami Gaming has worked responsibly and diligently in order to establish itself as one of the top four industry suppliers.  He also said that the company’s success to date was created through the personal commitment, contribution and longstanding tenure of its leadership team and employees who strive, on a daily basis, to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to fulfilling customer expectations.

Thomas Jingoli has also been appointed by Konami Gaming as Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer while Kazuya Kozuki will now take on the role of Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.

Thomas Soukup will move into the role of Senior Vice-President and Chief Systems Product Officer and Yuji Taniguchi will take on the role of Senior Vice-President and Chief Games Product and Strategy Officer.

Sutherland added that these appointments reflect a continued strengthening of their leadership team as they pursue the achievement of key strategic and operational objectives across the domestic and international market they serve.
