Isle of Man based software group, Microgaming, has revealed that great progress has already been made on the five-story building that is currently being constructed in Douglas and that its new headquarters is due to open on the Isle of Man early next year.

Microgaming has revealed that the fabric and structure of the building are nearing completion and that it will not be long before tradesmen will be in a position to enter the internal finishing stages of the project.

A spokesperson for Microgaming thanked the dedicated team of builders for the hard work performed on the project and its deadlines.

Microgaming’s new headquarters is being built next to the online gambling software provider’s existing MGS House headquarters with a bridge linking the old and the new building being planned so as to allow easy flow between the two buildings.  The third floor walkway will extend over Hillside Terrace and connect the two buildings.

It was owing to Microgaming’s growing workforce that the company announced plans to construct a new building to house all its employees and also allow for continued growth.

John Coleman, the group’s finance director, commented on the construction by saying that every day that one looks out the window at the new office, something has changed or developed, which is incredibly exciting to witness.

Microgaming planned its expansion on the Isle of Man in order to contribute to the island’s growth and economic prosperity and sees the new project as an investment in the future.
