FanDuel Group and Sportradar, the world’s leading global provider of sports data and content, officially announced on Tuesday, 30th April 2019, that they would be extending their partnership to offer live streaming to FanDuel Sportsbook’s industry-leading sports betting app.
The extension will see FanDuel Group rolling out a portfolio of live sporting events that includes tennis from around the world (following a trial of live streaming a major tennis tournament), as well as European soccer via the provider’s Live Channel Online.
The Sportradar Live Channel Online will enable US consumers to have the opportunity to watch live action from within their betting app for the very first time, despite the fact that live streaming is a deep-rooted part of the betting experience.
Neale Deeley, the Vice President of the US Sales and Gaming, Sportradar, commented on the partnership by saying that they are really excited to bring live streaming to the US market with FanDuel.
Deeley went on to say that they have been longstanding partners of both FanDuel and parent company PaddyPower Betfair across a wide range of betting and fantasy services. He added that they are proud to be an ongoing part of their US expansion plans.
Niall Connell, General Manager of FanDuel Sportsbook, said that the ability to live stream professional sports inside their sports betting product will provide their customers with a first-class betting experience.
Connell also said that by making Sportradar’s Live Channel Online available alongside their betting markets, FanDuel Sportsbook continues to be the premier sports destination in the ever-growing sports betting industry.
